Falcons Continue Competition at Bedford Cup

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force women's tennis completed day two of the Bedford Cup In The Mountains on Saturday with singles and doubles action.
Stephanie Marcheret and Yule Kang highlighted singles action with straight-set victories. Marcheret earned a 7-5, 6-3 win over Idaho State, while Kang picked up a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Idaho State. Kate Craver fell 0-6, 4-6 to Texas Tech, while Shivaani Selvan dropped a 6-2, 5-7, 7-10 decision to Idaho State. Tia Christopulos fell 1-6, 3-6 to Idaho State, while Johanna Roggenkamp fell 1-6 to Colorado State.
In doubles action, Maya Michalski and Craver earned a pair of victories, defeating Colorado State 6-3 before picking up a 7-6 (7-2) win over Texas Tech. Selvan and Kang defeated Utah State 6-1, while Marcheret and Christopulos fell 3-6 to Idaho State.
Air Force concludes the three-day Bedford Cup In The Mountains on Sunday.
