Air Force Men’s Tennis Announces 2027 Spring Schedule

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's tennis released its 2027 spring schedule, announced today by head coach Evan Urbina. The 22-game schedule features nine home duals, including non-conference home matches against Gonzaga and Florida Gulf Coast. In addition, Air Force will play both Army and Navy in neutral-site matches this season.
The Falcons open on the road Jan. 16-17, traveling to San Luis Obispo, Calif., to take on host Cal Poly and a neutral-site match against Army.
Air Force has its home-opener Jan. 23 against Gonzaga. After a road game Jan. 24 at Denver, the Falcons host three straight. Air Force hosts Queens on Jan. 29, Northern Arizona Jan. 30 and UC San Diego on Jan. 31.
The Falcons hit the road back to back weeks to start February, starting with a Feb. 6-7 trip to Montana and Montana State. The following week has the Falcons in the state of Florida, taking on Florida Southern on Feb. 11 and Navy at the USTA Center in Orlando on Feb. 13.
Air Force hosts FGCU on Feb. 19, before traveling to Utah to take on BYU on March 5 and Utah State on March 7.
The Falcons host Cleveland State on March 11 and then open MW play with a home game against New Mexico on March 13. Air Force next heads to Hawaii to start April, taking on Hawaii Pacific on April 2 and Hawaii on April 4. The Falcons return home April 11 to host GCU.
The Falcons hit the road April16 at Nevada and April 18 at UC Davis. The regular season concludes April at home against UNLV.
The MW Men's Tennis Championships run April 28-May 1 in Las Vegas. New for this season is only the top four teams qualify for the MW Championships.

"I'm excited to announce our 2027 spring schedule. I'm confident the entire Air Force Tennis family will be happy to see both Army and Navy back on the schedule. We've put together a challenging schedule that will take us to California, Montana, Florida, Utah, Hawaii, and Nevada.
One major change this year is that only the top four teams will compete in the Mountain West Tournament, rather than the entire conference. That means we'll have to earn our way in during the regular season. This schedule will prepare us to be at our best when our best is needed.
I'm excited to see our Falcon family at home. I'd like to highlight our home opener against Gonzaga on January 23rd, and our only match at home in February against Florida Gulf Coast on February 19th. Our home crowd vibe is unmatched, and I know our team feeds off the atmosphere inside the cadet gym on matchday. The camaraderie and the "way we compete" is what our fans will see when they attend. I'm thrilled for the opportunity to help develop our cadet athletes and leaders through competition."
