SAN FRANCISCO – Falcon men's soccer came up short, 2-0, in a Friday evening matchup with the University of San Francisco Dons at Negoesco Stadium. Air Force, on a two-match skid, drops to 0-2-2 while USF improved to 2-2-1.

The Dons' two goals mark the most goals conceded by the Falcons this season. The first USF goal came by way of penalty kick with David Raphael getting past freshman keeper Hunter Anderson to the top left.

Air Force attempted nine shots on the match with five coming on target. Sophomore co-team captain Tucker Kern led the offensive charge with a pair of shots, both testing Don goalkeeper, William Krause. Seven other Falcons accounted for seven shots with co-team captain Oliver Becker, Logan Zaa, and Menes Ajyeman recording shots on goal.

The Falcons held the Dons to one goal lead up to the 87^th minute where Jaggar Judkins added the second strike in an unassisted attack. Nico Ruiz and David Raphael led the onslaught with nine shots between the duo, five on target.

Freshman goalie Hunter Anderson continues to show promise in the goal, making six saves against a seasoned USF squad. Krause completed the shutout with five saves.

Next up, the Falcons travel to Moraga, California, to take on Saint Mary's in a Labor Day matchup. Action at Saint Mary's Stadium is slated for 1pm PT.
