JUNIOR YEAR | 2020-21: Accounted for the fifth-fastest 200-meter time in Air Force Indoor history…clocked a time of 25.25 to finish sixth out of 23 runners at the Air Force Collegiate Open…also ran on the mile relay that finished second at that meet…competed in the 400-meter dash four times during the indoor season, posting a season-best time of 57.81 at the Championships at the Peak meet…did not compete during the outdoor season.

SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2019-20: Impacted the Academy’s all-time standings in four events during the indoor season...claimed all-conference honors in the distance medley relay...clocked the sixth-fastest 200-meter time in Academy history during a winning 25.36 performance at the Air Force Collegiate Open...named the Mountain West Athlete of the Week following that meet...first debuted in ninth on the all-time standings after clocking 25.72 at the Air Force Invitational...accounted for the ninth-fastest 400-meter time in program history (57.17) at the Don Kirby Invitational...ran the second leg of the 4x400-meter relay that combined for the second-fastest time in Academy history (3:48.35) during a scoring finish at the MW Indoor Championships (sixth)...also ran the second leg of the distance medley relay that finished third at the conference meet and debuted in fourth on the Academy’s all-time standings (11:38.55, adjusted for altitude)...earned the program’s Most Improved Athlete award.

FRESHMAN YEAR | 2018-19: Competed in all of the sprint events...anchored the 4x400-meter relay that clocked the 10th-fastest time in Academy history (3:51.05) at the Drake Relays...posted personal-best marks in the 100-meter (13.02) and 200-meter (26.33) distances at the UNC Invitational...added an outdoor-best 400-meter time of 59.91 at the Air Force Twilight Open...picked up a first-place finish at that distance during the indoor season, after clocking a 59.59 at the Air Force Collegiate Open...ran a career-best 400-meter time of 59.40 at the Mountain Lion Invitational...clocked a personal-best 60-meter time of 8.12 at the Air Force Team Challenge and ran an indoor-best 200-meter time of 26.55 at the Potts Invitational...made collegiate debut at the Air Force Holiday Open, clocking a 300-meter time of 41.94 to claim a top-20 finish in the 51-runner event...academic all-conference selection.

HIGH SCHOOL: North Cedar High School...12-time conference champion...13-time medalist at the Iowa state championships...finished second in the 400-meter dash (58.36) and third in the 200-meter dash (26.00) at the Class 2A meet...first-team all-state selection...also competed in cross country, volleyball and basketball...earned academic all-conference honors in all four sports...ranked in the top 10-percent of graduating class.

PERSONAL: Full name is Grace Ann Proesch...daughter of Joby and Kyle Proesch...father served in the Army...has one older brother, who is in the Air Force and currently serving in pararescue...also one younger sister...majoring in civil engineering...future plans include becoming a space operations officer...currently serving as Operations Flight Commander for squadron...named to the Superintendent’s List for military, academic and athletic performance...earned Jump Wings in the summer of 2019...hobbies include listening to Sean Geither talk so much, hot yoga with Michelle Roca and brewing kombucha ...first member of North Cedar High School to attend a service academy…completed a Field Engineering and Readiness Laboratory (FERL) program over the summer, studying mine reclamation in western Colorado...member of Cadet Squadron 12.
