2021-22 | FRESHMAN: 2-1 record in dual singles.
Prior to Air Force: Attended Marion Military Institute ... competed at nationals for NJCAA DI and reached the consolation semifinals in both singles and doubles.
High School: Lettered four years in tennis and two in slowpitch softball ... ranked No. 2 in doubles as a junior in the state of Washington ... played for top-ranked team in the GSL as a junior ... First-Team All-GSL shortstop in softball as a senior and played for third-ranked team in state ... GSL MVP in softball as a senior ... graduated Cum Laude ... high school tennis coach was Eric Woodward ... played club tennis for Spokane Club, coached by Jeff Urie.
PERSONAL: Member of cadet squadron 9 ... daughter of Lt. Col. Matthew and Candie Dibble ... has three sisters ... her uncle, Lt. Col. (Ret.) Mike Gaal, is a 1989 USAFA grad ... English major with minor in Spanish ... future career plan is to become a pilot ... Why I decided to come to the Academy: "I want to fly heavies once I graduate. I also want to continue the legacy of military service in my family, with me being the first woman in my family to be in the military." ... hobbies are being outside (hiking, swimming, playing sports), reading and hanging out with friends ... began playing tennis at age seven ... credits her parents as having the biggest influence on her sports/tennis career ... favorite possession is a notebook given to her by her dad a few years ago that helped continue her yearning to become a pilot ... one thing on her bucket list is to go skydiving/jump out of a plane ... on road trips, never forgets her canon camera ... dream vacation spots are Spain and Germany ... guilty pleasure is sleeping in late and ordering food to watch movies ... favorite role model is her father becuase he started off as an enlisted plumber and worked his way to be an officer and pilot ... something most people don't know about her is that she was naturally blonde till she was eight years old ... most notable thing about her hometown is that it hosts the world's biggest 3-on-3 basketball tournament in the US ... enjoys listening to pop music ... favorite TV show is Parks and Recreation ... favorite movie is Lilo & Stich ... favorote class subject is Spanish ... favorite athlete is Russell Wilson ... her family is stationed in Ferrara, Italy, so she has gotten to see parts of Italy and France when visiting them.
