Sophomore Season (2002): Played in five varsity games and also saw action on junior varsity? Was 0-for-6 with two runs scored? Had 12 chances behind the plate and did not make an error.
Freshman Season (2001): Played in eight varsity games... Had seven at-bats and walked twice... Spent most of the season on junior varsity.
Richland High School (2003): Two-year letterman in baseball... Named honorable mention all-conference as a senior... Played in the regional all-star game... Team won the state championship his junior year... Earned his high school[apos]s scholar-athlete award as a senior... Drove in the game-winning run at the regional tournament to send his team to the state quarterfinals... Member of the National Honors Society.

Why I came to the Academy ?I came to the Academy because I?ve always wanted to fly planes.?
