All Air Force Academy home and away intercollegiate athletic events will be held as scheduled during the government shutdown. Funding for these events, along with travel/logistical support will be provided by the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation (AFAAC). HIGH SCHOOL: New Mexico Military Institute...lettered in volleyball all four years...coached by Stephanie Schooley...earned MVP honors as a senior...also served as team captain that year...four-year letterwinner in basketball...played on the team that won the New Mexico 3A title...member of the National Honor Society...competed at the club level for Artesia Elite...coached by Rory Arisumi...member of the team that won the regional title.

PERSONAL: Full name is Bianca Maretta Walker...daughter of Jason and Maria Walker...both parents served in the Army...has three younger sisters -- Sierra, Mia and Tessa...majoring in biology...future plans include attending medical school...hobbies include traveling, hiking and spending time with friends and family...attended the Academy's Prep School...greatest personal moment in sports came from winning the New Mexico 3A basketball championship as a freshman.
