2018-19 | FRESHMAN: All-Mountain West Doubles with TJ Fumagalli...earned Air Force 2018-19 Female Rookie of the Year across all USAFA sports...Posted 61-16 overall record, ranking second on team in overall wins...29-9 singles, ranking second on team and 32-7 in doubles, leading team in doubles wins...13-3 in tournament singles and 16-6 in dual singles and 3-2 in conference singles...16-2 in tournament doubles, 15-4 in dual doubles and 2-1 in conference doubles...earned a ranking of as high as #35 in doubles... teamed with Fumagalli for Air Force's first-ever ITA Mountain Region Doubles Title and first-ever trip to ITA Fall Championships.
High School: Ranked #1 in Texas for 18-under division…won the Texas Grand Slam 18 and under doubles in 2018…ranked in the top 75 in the nation…winner of two level 2 national doubles titles…Top 10 in Texas in all age divisions (12s, 14s, 16s and 18s)…coached by Jack Newman.
PERSONAL: Member of cadet squadron 38…daughter of Nick and Ivi Kerrigan…brother, Erik, is a senior at the University of Chicago and is a member of the men’s tennis team…mother was once the #1 ranked tennis player in Estonia for juniors…nickname is primarily KK, but teammates also call her Baby Cakes, Bam Bam and Bambi…undeclared on major, but considering economics with a French minor...active in her squadron as the element non-commissioned officer (NCO)...during the summer prior to her sophomore year: went backpacking through some national parks in Utah with her father, completed a summer academics class and completed Expeditionary Survival Training (EST), where he killed a rabbit and ate parts of it...began playing tennis at age four…pre-match superstition is that she must throw a tennis ball simultaneously with Lt. Meredith Laskey into the back fence before serving...one thing on her bucket list is to run a marathon...on road trips, never forgets her headphones so she can block out teammate TJ Fumagalli's loud voice...hobbies include playing basketball, taking naps, hiking, running, swimming and gaming (up to 62 solo wins in Fortnite)...enjoys listening to rap and country, along with whatever DJ Mere throws in the mix...favorite TV shows are the Teletubbies and Black Mirror...favorite movies are the Bourne Trilogy...favorite class subject is economics...favorite athlete is Kyle Korver...something not many people know about her is that she's half Estonian...favorite food is spicy edamame.
