Boarder vs.
Commuter
Both options include the full daytime sport camp experience. The main difference is whether your camper stays overnight at the Academy or is dropped off and picked up each day.

Boarder
Age: Boarders must be at least 12 years old.
Housing: Campers stay overnight in the Cadet dormitories.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included during camp.
Evenings: Boarders participate in supervised evening and Night Recreation activities.
Airport Shuttle: Eligible boarders may use AF Sports Camps transportation to and from Colorado Springs Airport during Sessions 1 and 2.
Commuter
Age: Commuter age requirements vary by sport.
Housing: Commuters do not stay overnight on the Academy.
Meals: Lunch is included on applicable full camp days.
Daily Schedule: Families drop campers off in the morning and pick them up after sport instruction.
Evenings: Commuters do not participate in boarder Night Recreation activities.

Which Option Is Right for You?
Choose Boarder if your camper is at least 12 and you want the full overnight Academy experience. Choose Commuter if your camper will stay locally and you prefer daily drop-off and pickup.
