PERSONAL: Son of Todd and Jill Hawkins ... has four brothers ... nickname is `Hawk' ... father played collegiate baseball at Baylor (1983-86) and professionally for the San Francisco Giants and New York Mets (1986-88) ... uncle, Tim Hawkins, played collegiate baseball at Missouri (1987-89) and is now a professional comedian ... one person in history he would like to meet is Reggie White so he can learn how to spread the gospel through sports ... favorite food is pasta, favorite class subject is history, favorite book is the Bible, favorite TV show is The Office ... credits his father as being the most influential person in his sporting career because he always made him feel proud to be his son while consistently working with him on whatever sport he wanted to better himself in.
