HIGH SCHOOL (Bridgeport):Lettered three years in baseball and cross country...first-team all-state...two-time Big 10 Pitcher of the Year...three-time all-county in cross country...National Honor Society Vice President...high school baseball coach was Robert Shields...played summer ball for the Harrison County Generals, coached by Todd Kiger.
