Appeared in 17 games seeing most of his action as a pinch runner

High School (Columbine): Four-year letterwinner, playing for his father Coach Chuck Gillman, serving as a captain in 2015-16... played catcher his first two seasons and shortstop his final two years... earned All-Colorado First Team recognition as a senior... hit .356 as a senior... also picked up Rawlings-Perfect Game All-America West Region Second Team distinction in 2016... garnered spot on Cincinnati Reds Area Code Games team in 2015... was a three-time selection for Colorado Rockies High School Futures All-Star Game... garnered All-Colorado Second Team distinction as a junior... earned two letters in football, winning all-league safety recognition as a senior... also lettered on the basketball squad.

Personal: Member of cadet squadron 24 … Son of Chuck and Mari … has one brother, C.J., who was an Air Force assistant coach and is now the minor league hitting coordinator for the Cincinnati Reds, and one sister, Kalli … grandfather, Roy Snyder, attended the U.S. Naval Academy, graduating in 1950 and retired as a Rear Admiral … came to the academy to be a part of something greater than himself … is majoring in management … began playing baseball at the age of four … is a cancer survivor … favorite MLB team is the Colorado Rockies and favorite player is Trevor Story … loves to jump out of airplanes.
