- Played summer ball for Eau Claire Express in the Northwoods League during his three weeks of allowed leave from cadet duties.
- Won the College Baseball Home Run Derby at TD Ameritrade Park of Omaha with a derby record 55 home runs. Won the finals 21-20 over Clemson's Logan Davidson to claim the title.

HIGH SCHOOL (Jesuit Prep): Lettered three years in baseball…first team all-district selection in 2015…named team’s offensive MVP as a senior…second team all-state selection as a senior…selected as North Texas and Texas Coaches Association All-Star his senior season…first team all-district choice as a junior…chosen as Jesuit Prep’s defensive MVP in 2013 and 2014…first team all-district as a sophomore…high school coach was Brian Jones…played summer baseball for Dallas Mustangs, coached by Barry Hoffpauir…member of the National Honor Society…All-State Academic selection.
PERSONAL: Member of cadet squadron 34…parents are Randy and Tracy Ready…father played Major League Baseball for 13 seasons…has five brothers…favorite food is steak and shrimp chimichurri…favorite book is The Hatchet…favorite television show is Family Guy…favorite movie is American Sniper…would most like to meet Robert E. Lee and ask him why he made his famous charge at Gettysburg…credits his brothers Max and Mark for having influenced his baseball career the most…one aspect of his life that many don’t know is he won his school’s poetry contest in fifth grade.
Why I came to the Academy: “I came to win an NCAA championship in baseball, to serve my country and to be the best man I can possibly be.”
