All Air Force Academy home and away intercollegiate athletic events will be held as scheduled during the government shutdown. Funding for these events, along with travel/logistical support will be provided by the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation (AFAAC). HIGH SCHOOL: Boone Country High School...earned all-state honorable mention in football...named to the Northern Kentucky All-Star Team. PERSONAL: Son of Michael and Colleen Gagliardi...born Oct. 2, 1986...has two older sisters, Loriel Niemann (27) and Sabrina Depenbrock (25)...majoring in foreign area studies (Arabic)...future career plans include working in the intelligence field and then as a State Department Regional Area Expert...spent six weeks in Egypt, studying Arabic, over the summer...intramural boxing champion...hobbies include snowboarding, politics and camping...is a great cook...grandfather served in the military...member of Cadet Squadron 09.
