Winstead is the daughter of William Winstead, a U.S. Army Green Beret, and Angie Winstead, and older sister to four younger brothers. At Goliad High School, Audrey was the captain of her cross-country team, member of the varsity track team, and varsity cheer squad. Specializing in long-distance events in track, Audrey earned recognition for her endurance and competitive spirit. Her dedication to athletics is matched by a passion for teamwork, evident in her active participation in spirit programs and service to the Green Beret Foundation and active-duty military. As a member of Squadron 11, Audrey embodies the values of leadership and service, balancing academics and athletics while inspiring peers to reach their full potential.
