Entering third season as a cadet manager for the Air Force cross country team...also serves as a manager for the track and field team.
PERSONAL: Full name in Tyler Eric Younkers...nickname is "GolfWang"...son of Kyle and Araceli Younkers...father is a 1990 Academy graduate...has one younger brother...majoring in aeronautical engineering...future plans include becoming a pilot and hopefully flying the B-36...named to the Commandant's List for excellence in military excellence...also named to the Athletic Director's List...currently serving as Honor NCO for squadron...hobbies include SCUBA diving, surfing, backpacking, hiking, attempting the team room challenge, and having deep, philosophical discussions with Coach Cole and Coach Stanforth...only member of the team that remains in the "2%"Club...completed Operation Air Force at Vandenberg AFB, Calif., over the summer...also spent time surfing and worked with Boy Scouts at Philmont Scout Ranch...member of Cadet Squadron 16.
