HIGH SCHOOL: Albuquerque Academy...2016 Gatorade Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year for New Mexico...won the New Mexico 5A state title in cross country as a senior...five-time state champion in track...captured the 1600-meter and 3200-meter titles as a junior and senior...also won the 3200-meter run as a sophomore...finished first in that event at the 2016 Great Southwest Classic...finished sixth at the Nike Southwest regional meet...qualified to Nike Cross Nationals (45th)...two-time Male Athlete of the Year (2016, 2017).
PERSONAL: Son of Eldred and Darlene Lesansee...nicknames are “Fat J” or “Migos”...has four brothers...currently undecided on a major, but considering systems engineering or civil engineering...served as Support Clerk for squadron...named to the Dean’s List...hobbies include fishing, admiring Coach Cole’s strong sneaker game, getting buckets and sweating...caught the most fish at cross country’s team camp...peanut butter and jelly sandwich enthusiast...arguably the most lethal shooter from beyond the arc in basketball...would like to add “all glory to God for blessing me with the opportunities to attend school and to compete for USAFA”...proud member of the Jemez and Zuni Pueblo Tribes...hopes to be a positive role model for family and everyone back home...completed Expeditionary Survival Training (EST) and the Academy’s Remote Piloted Aircraft (RPA) program over the summer...member of Cadet Squadron 06.
