Before the Academy: Competed for Olympian Fencing Club, coached by Velizar Iliev ... also lettered three years in track and one in cross country ... first-team all-academic in track and field and cross country ... part of school record-setting 1600 meter relay team in 2017 ... 2018 class salutatorian ... ranked fifth in the state of Texas for Community Emergency Response Team HOSA medical knowledge and skills.

Why I decided to come to the Academy: “I have always wanted to come to the Academy ever since my great uncle Tex took me up in his Cessna 180 and flew me around the city. My first time seeing the F-22 Raptor fly over at an air show at Randolph AFB got me hooked on the USAF. I came to USAFA to get the best education and training possible to open the door to a flying and or medical career, and above all, to serve the best country on earth.
