2019-20 (Senior): 26-49 record ... ninth place in senior men's saber at 2019 Falcon Open ... had a winning record in eight team bouts ... 12th place finish in men's saber at 2020 NCAA West Regional.

2018-19 (Junior): 14-37 record in 51 bouts ... 12th in senior men's saber at 2018 Falcon Open.

2017-18 (Sophomore): Competed in 43 bouts ... won 15 times ... went undefeated against Incarnate Word, Cal Tech and Wayne State ... finished fifth in men’s saber at Nick Toth Open.

2016-17 (Freshman): Competed in 10 bouts ... earned two wins at Northwestern Invite.

Before the Academy: Earned three varsity letters in fencing … three-time district champion and conference champion (2014-16) … state champions in 2014 and 2015 … team captain as a senior … high school coach was Jin Jun Shen … also competed for Medeo Fencing Club, coached by Yakov Danilenko.

Personal: Member of cadet squadron 23 … son of Jian and Katherine Wang … has an older brother … why I decided to come to the Academy: “To serve the nation and be a part of something bigger than myself.” … began fencing at age 14 … credits his fencing coach as having the biggest influence on his sports career … pre-competition superstition is reciting Invictus before competitions … something most people don’t know about him is that he is a fencer … most notable thing about his home town is that it has the oldest tree in New Jersey … favorite movie is Top Gun … favorite team is Air Force football.
