2020 – Played in five games, starting one … start came vs. San Jose State and was the first of his career … part of an offensive line that helped Air Force to its second national rushing title with a 305.7 per-game average … the offensive line helped the Falcons win their fourth straight conference rushing title … Air Force was the only team to average 300-plus yards rushing per game … the offensive line allowed just two quarterback sacks to lead the Mountain West and rank third nationally … the Falcons led the conference and ranked 17th nationally in time of possession with a 32:30 mark … Air Force had five 100-yard rushing games ... the offensive line was named to the Joe Moore Award midseason watch list.
2019 – Played in eight games, including the bowl game vs. Washington State … played in the final four games and six of the final eight overall … part of an offensive line that led the conference and ranked second nationally in rushing with a 298.5 per-game average … offensive line allowed just four sacks, the fewest sacks in the nation … Air Force led the conference and ranked second nationally in third-down percentage with a 53.5 mark … the Falcons led the Mountain West and ranked second nationally in time of possession with a 34:28 mark.
2018 – Did not see any action.
High School – Lettered three years in football, two in lacrosse and one each in track and basketball … earned all-state honors in football two years … twice named all-conference and all-region … high school football coach was Louis Brown.
Personal – Parents are Dennis and Christine Wimmer … has two brothers, Erik and Jake … attended the Air Force Academy Prep School and played football … majoring in systems engineering … would like to go into the business field or be an engineer in the future … hobbies include sports, hiking and gaming … completed survival training, basic cyber training and was on the wing support staff in the summer of 2019.
