2018 – Played in 11 games, starting the last night at place kicker and the last six at punter … handled all kicking duties, including field goals, extra points, kickoffs and punting the last six games … hit 32-33 extra points and 9-12 field goals for a team-best 59 points … had 56 kickoffs with 23 touchbacks … punted 17 times for a 41.6 average with eight fair catches, four inside the 20 and three punts of 50-plus yards … hit field goals from 29 and 39 yards against Colorado State while punting twice for a 48.5 average with a career long of 56 yards … hit field goals of 27 and 21 yards at Wyoming … hit a 38 yard field goal against Boise State while punting three times for a 48.3 average and two of 50-plus (52 and 51) … first-career game with multiple field goals at UNLV, hitting from 32 and 26 yards … also had eight kickoffs with three touchbacks … hit a career-long 43 yard field goal vs. Nevada, also kicked off five times with three touchbacks … hit his first-career field goal at Utah State, a 31-yarder.
2017 – Played in the season opener vs. VMI … had one kickoff for a touchback.
2016 – Did not see any varsity action.
High School – Lettered two years each in football and diving … earned a five-star rating as a kicker and punter by ESPN … high school football coach was Sean Sovacool … forced overtime with a 47-yard field goal against his rival high school.
Personal – Son of Phillip and Diane Koehnke … has one younger sister … major is management … hobbies are playing the guitar and listening to music … completed Operations Air Force and was on the cadet work group for Basic Cadet Training in the summer of 2018 … completed the powered flight program and was on the cadet leadership team for Basic Cadet Training last summer.
