Jared Czech is in his fourth season as an assistant coach with the Air Force men’s basketball program in 2023-24. Czech comes to the Academy from Columbia University.
Czech spent the previous four seasons as an assistant coach at Columbia under head coach Jim Engles. Czech’s primary responsibilities for the Lions included recruiting and player development. Czech was also part of Engles’ staff at NJIT as his director of operations in 2014-15.
In between his year with NJIT and Columbia, Czech was named Director of Hoop Group Elite Camp, the world’s largest basketball instructional organization in 2015.
Czech was on Joe Scott’s staff during the 2013-14 season as a graduate manager at the University of Denver. First involved with coaching when he was a high school student at St. Patrick’s in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Czech entered college coaching as a student assistant at Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York.
He also coached AAU basketball with the highly-regarded NYC Gauchos program.
