BEFORE USAFA: Graduated from Roswell High School…recorded a 3.9 GPA…competed at the club level for Roswell Gymnastics…coached by Felippe Mendonca and Michael Bereznev…member of the 2022 national championship team…also claimed the Region 8 all-around title that year…finished second at the Georgia state championships…Region 8 Elite team member (2022-23)…Region 3 elite team member (2019)…four-time Academic All-American.

PERSONAL: Full name is Aiden Leo Esval…son of Orland and Stacy Esval…father served in the Army…has two older brothers who are both in the Air Force (Ethan is a former member of the men’s gymnastics team at USAFA)…majoring in foreign area studies…earning a minor in French…future plans including becoming a pilot, going into the intelligence field, or working in acquisitions…named to the Athletic Director’s List…currently serving as a Supervisor for squadron…hobbies include geography, travel, and food…can name every country in the world…both grandfathers served in the Air Force…favorite event changes every year, but is currently the high bar…completed Combat Survival Training and took an academic class (world history) over the summer…member of Cadet Squadron 19.
