JUNIOR YEAR | 2020: Participated in the vault in the home finale with Stanford, scoring a 12.400.
SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2019: Competed in two meets...made collegiate debut in home meet against Army West Point in relief of an injured teammate...competed on the pommel horse (11.500), still rings (12.700) and vault (13.200)...also competed on the vault at the Arizona State Invitational...earned the team’s Hardest Worker award.
FRESHMAN YEAR | 2018: Did not compete.
HIGH SCHOOL | CLUB TEAM: Timber Creek High School...graduated in the top 10-percent of senior class (4.7 GPA)...competed at the club level for Orlando Metro Gymnastics and Harpeth School of Gymnastics...coached by Ian Jackson, Mo Simmons, Phil Savage and Mont Whitson...finished sixth on the pommel horse at Nationals...Academic All-American.
PERSONAL: Son of Jack and Julie Omer...has one younger sister...majoring in mechanical engineering...future plans include becoming a civil engineer...served as a safety medical officer during Basic Cadet Training...earned Jump Wings in the summer of 2018...named to the Superintendent’s List for excellence in military, academic and athletic performance...hobbies include being bad at fantasy league...once watched Dragon Ball Z in its entirety over the course of five days...has one cousin that serves in the Navy...favorite event is the still rings, because “hard work is a direct translation to success”...would like to add “Go Seminoles”...member of Cadet Squadron 21.
