Adrienne Hopper serves as the Director of Operations for both the Air Force Academy Men's Soccer program and the Academy’s Spirit and Cheer teams. In these roles, she oversees the teams’ operational planning and execution. In addition to her roles with men’s soccer and spirit, Adrienne serves as event support staff for the Air Force Academy Athletics Corporation, assisting with the logistics and execution of special events held at the Air Force Academy. She additionally serves as a Marketing and Development Contractor for the Colorado Springs Sports Corp, fostering and coordinating community partnerships in support of local events, including Labor Day Lift Off, Pikes Peak Regional Air Show and Rocky Mountain State Games.
Adrienne joined Air Force Athletics following a 17-year career as a commissioned officer in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Corps, achieving the rank of Commander (O-5), and serving in leadership roles aboard ships conducting scientific missions throughout the Arctic, Pacific, Atlantic, Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico, and South Pacific. Her operational assignments included Executive Officer of Marine Operations Center-Pacific, responsible for the execution of NOAA’s pacific research fleet operations, Executive Officer aboard NOAA Ship Nancy Foster, Operations Officer aboard NOAA Ship Ronald H. Brown, and Junior Officer aboard NOAA Ship Gordon Gunter. Staff assignments included service as a Legislative Liaison to the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, Chief of Staff for NOAA's Pacific Islands Regional Office, and as the Executive Assistant / Flag Aide to the NOAA Administrator.
Adrienne holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government, attending as a John F. Kennedy Fellow and also completing a certificate in Management, Leadership, and Decision Sciences. She also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arizona, a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Michigan State University, and is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
As a student at Michigan State University, Adrienne played club water polo, serving as team captain her senior year, helping to lead the Spartans to the National Collegiate Club Water Polo Championship.
Adrienne is a member of The Explorers Club and enjoys hiking and traveling in her free time.
