JUNIOR YEAR | 2021: Saw action in 49 sets…member of the starting lineup six times…accounted for 44 kills, 26 digs, nine blocks and four service aces…tallied a season-high eight kills in the match at UNLV…also tallied a career-best two blocks (both assisted) in that contest…matched that total during both contests against San Diego State…tallied a season-high five digs and one solo block against Fresno State…academic all-conference selection.
SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2020: Played in 24 sets during the shortened season…member of the starting rotation four times…recorded 33 kills, 17 digs, seven service aces and three blocks in nine matches…posted a career-high 12 kills during first match of the Utah State series…added a personal-best two assisted blocks during the second match with the Aggies…recorded season-best totals in digs (five), service aces (career-best four) and assists (career-best two) in the win over Fresno State…academic all-conference selection.
FRESHMAN YEAR | 2019: Saw action in 64 sets...member of the starting rotation for two contests...combined for 30 kills, 11 service aces and 40 digs...accounted for a career-high four kills twice – first against Virginia Tech and again at San Jose State...added a personal-best seven digs against the Hokies...accounted for career highs in both service aces (three) and points (7.5) at San Jose State...earned first start during that match...registered four blocks, including a solo stop at Fresno State...academic all-conference selection.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Tom and Chris Markwardt...both parents retired from the Air Force at the rank of lieutenant colonel (father was an F-15 pilot, mother served as an intelligence officer)...father was also a member of the alpine ski team at the University of Colorado...has a twin sister, Stefanie, who is a member of the swim team at the University of West Florida...also has one older brother, Matthew, who is a 2018 Academy graduate and current F-22 pilot in the Air Force...majoring in aeronautical engineering...future plans include becoming a pilot...earned Jump Wings in the summer of 2020…hobbies include skiing, swimming, hiking and traveling...uncle Bob Remey, a 1994 Academy graduate and former member of the Air Force basketball team, is a retired HH-60 pilot in the Air Force...grandfather Bob Remey was an F-4 pilot in the Air Force before retiring as a colonel...greatest personal moments in sports are finishing second at Big South and being recruited to play at Air Force...served as cadre during Air Force Sports Camps and Basic Cadet Training (CBRNE) over the summer…also spent time at home and visited family in Minnesota...member of Cadet Squadron 09.
