PERSONAL: Member of Cadet Squadron 13…son of Hui Ci Yu and Yan Yi Huang…has one older brother, who graduated from Boston College and is now serving in the Army…majoring in systems engineering, with an aero focus…earning a minor in German…future plans include becoming a pilot (either C-17s or fighters)…currently serving as a Force Support NCO…completed Combat Survival Training and Airmanship 490 (jump) over the summer…spent the 2021-22 academic year at the University of Massachusetts Amherst…hobbies include playing Mario Kart, basketball, cooking and snowboarding…has played the violin for 10 years…can solve a Rubik’s Cube in 45 seconds…graduated from Boston Latin School – the oldest high school in America (founded in 1635)…lettered in track and field as a senior…also competed on the soccer team…member of the National Honor Society.
