Abby Brenner currently serves as Director of Development at the United States Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation. In this role, she advances philanthropic engagement efforts that strengthen Air Force Athletics and enhance the cadet-athlete experience, working closely with donors, campus partners, and leadership to support fundraising priorities.
Prior to joining Air Force, Brenner worked in the development office within Boston College’s Athletic Department, supporting fundraising and donor relations across all 31 varsity sports. She began her career at the University of Utah with Utes Sports Properties – Learfield, where she partnered with corporate sponsors to execute promotional initiatives both on and off the field. Her background in collegiate athletics development and corporate sponsorships provides a strong foundation in relationship-building, stewardship, and mission-driven fundraising.
A former NCAA Division I student-athlete, Brenner earned her bachelor’s degree in sport management from the University of Michigan and later completed her athletic career and master’s degree in administration at the University of Utah. Her competitive experience includes a 2021 NCAA National Championship and three Big Ten titles at Michigan, as well as a 2023 Pac-12 Championship and third-place finish at the NCAA National Championship with Utah.
Deeply connected to service academy athletics, her husband, Nicholas Blessing, is a proud United States Air Force Academy Class of 2020 graduate and former member of the men’s soccer team, contributing to two WAC Championships and a Sweet Sixteen NCAA Tournament appearance.
Brenner is honored to support the Academy’s tradition of excellence and is passionate about fostering meaningful relationships with those who believe in developing leaders of character for the United States Air Force and Space Force.
