Maj Ryan Bart serves as a Team Physician at the Air Force Academy and as an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine with Uniformed Services University. After graduating from Gonzaga University in 2012, he completed a Fulbright Scholarship in Bogota, Colombia. Maj Bart then attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Los Angeles, CA graduating in 2018. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at Travis Air Force Base in 2021. He subsequently completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship covering Naval Academy Athletics at the National Capital Consortium in 2022. Bart's academic interests include using exercise and other lifestyle strategies to optimize long-term health and performance. His clinical expertise includes concussion care, diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound guided procedures, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, osteopathic manipulative treatment, and medical acupuncture. He is Registered in Musculoskeletal Sonography (RMSK) and a Fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine. Dr. Bart is board certified in Sports Medicine, Family Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine. Bart’s mission is to promote vitality and prevent illness.
