Air Force Boxing Opens 2026-27 Season This Friday

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. -- Air Force Boxing, winners of the last two NCBA women's national team titles, will kick off the 2026-27 season this week, when it hosts the first Friday Night Fights of the year on Sept. 25. The first of three regular season intrasquad events this year will begin at 4:30 p.m. (MT) inside the Coach Eddie Weichers Boxing Gym at Cadet Gym.

Air Force will also hold Friday Night Fights on Oct. 9 and Jan. 15, while hosting Navy on Oct. 2 and the fourth-annual Falcon Invitational on Jan. 23. Air Force's annual Wing Open Tournament begins in February, where the first round (Feb. 3), quarterfinal (Feb. 10) and semifinal (Feb. 19) events lead up to the Wing Open Championships, under the lights of Clune Arena, on March 5.

In addition to the home events, the Falcons will also travel to Reno, Nev. (Feb. 12), Columbus, Ohio (Oct. 24), Detroit, Mich. (Oct. 30), West Point, N.Y. (Nov. 6), New York, N.Y. (Nov. 14, Nov. 23), Los Angeles (Nov. 14), Sacramento, Calif. (Nov. 20), and Seattle, Wash. (Feb. 5-6) during the regular season.

Dates and locations for the NCBA regional and national championships will be announced at a later date.
