Air Force Men's Cross Country Team Finished Sixth At NCAA Mountain Regionals - Women Finish Ninth

Leading the Falcons in the men's 10K was David Romero who placed 18th with a time 31:50, just one minute 11 seconds behind the first-place winner from Colorado. Albert Kelly (36th) was the second Falcon to cross the finish line. Teammates Ben Payne finished 40th, while Joe Monaco finished 44th. As a team the Falcons scored 185 points to place sixth in the team standings.
The women's team ran the 6K and finished the race in ninth place, scoring 243 points. The Falcons top three runners were Jaime Flood who finished 26th in a time of 22:25 (she was just one minute 39 seconds behind the first-place runner from Colorado), teammates Elissa Ballas (50th) and Jean Taylor (51st) followed within seconds of each other.
The men and women's teams from Colorado took first place, while the teams from Brigham Young placed second.
