Woolf Earns Boxer Of Week Honors

Geoff Woolf was named Boxer of the Week on Friday, Nov. 22nd, following a decision over Luis Pena in a 135-pound bout.
"Woolf used good combinations and ring generalship to control the action," said head boxing coach Eddie Weichers, Jr. "Woolf had to get around and through Pena's long jab and height advantage. It was a textbook boxing match with good style and straight punches. Both boxers brought out the best in each other."
The next Friday fight card is scheduled for December 6 in the upper cadet boxing room.
