Nordhagen Earns Weekly Honor

Junior Leif Nordhagen easily won a decision over Augusin Kamdem in a 170-pound bout Friday, December 6, to earn Boxer of the Week honors. Nordhagen used a good jab to measure Kamdem and dropped the right behind the jab on several occasions. He kept good pressure and controlled the action. Kamden could not seem to get off first and was on the defense most of the match. Kamdem did a good job of counter-punching but the aggressive Nordhagen won all three rounds.
Friday's bouts completed the Fall semester competition. The next schedule Friday night bout is Jan. 10th.
