New Mexico defeats Air Force, 6-0

The Air Force men's tennis team closed out conference play with a 6-0 loss to New Mexico Sunday at the Lobo Tennis Club in Albuquerque, NM. The Falcons fall to 12-8 overall, and finish the conference season with an 0-5 mark. UNM improves to 13-8 and 3-2.
The Lobos won all six singles matches, including four in straight sets. Justin Mancinelli took UNM's John Kowalski to three sets before losing, 5-7, 6-3, 6-0 at No. 4, and Tyler McClung dropped a 7-6, 4-6, 6-4 decision to Ryan Stotland at the No. 5 spot.
The teams did not play the doubles matches.
Air Force travels north on I-25 for a match against the University of Denver on Friday, April 12 at 2:30 p.m.
