U.S.A.F.A., Colo.- The Air Force women's swimming and diving team fell to UNLV, 129-112, Friday evening as the Falcons hosted the Rebels. Air Force had its moments with strong performances from junior Sarah Thilo who won the 1000-yard freestyle (10:31.72) and sophomore Jaymie Van Kooten who finished first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.79). Senior Emily Heidgerd won the 200-yard IM (2:14.70) and Michelle Hagar took first in the 3-meter diving evet (259.13).
The Falcons fall to 11-5 overall and will host New Mexico State Univ. and the Univ. of Northern Colorado Saturday, January 18 at 1 p.m.
