
Women's Swim and Dive Tops Denver and Wyoming on Friday Night

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo., - Air Force women's swim and dive finished day one of their first home meet ahead of both Denver (125-61) and Wyoming (124.50-61.50), but just behind No. 21 LSU (97-89) on Friday evening at Cadet Natatorium.
The Falcons' 200 medley team, swam by Eliza Black, Naomi Furman, Amber Martin, and Ryan Mills took second after clocking a time of 1:43.75.
Newcomer Sadie Hartig won her first race as a Falcon, touching the wall at 2:03.33 in the 200 back. In fourth was Elizabeth Sistrunk (2:05.04).
Jordan Evans finished highest for Air Force with a time of 4:33.73 in the 400 IM in fifth place. Teammate Elizabeth Sistrunk finished right behind in sixth (4:34.84).
In the 100 free, Lily Larson earned a bronze finish at 50.98, while Mills took fifth (51.64).
Martin logged a third-place finish in the 100 fly after recording a time of 56.79, with Mills behind in fifth (57.26).
With a time of 5:09.55, Hartig placed fourth in the 500 free.
On the 3-meter springboard, freshman Lulu Semakula earned her first collegiate win with a score of 262.30. Fellow Falcon Chloe Perkins scored a 256.40 to place second.
Action will pick back up on Saturday October 18 at 11 a.m. MT in the Cadet Natatorium.
