
Falcons Complete Season at CSCAA National Invitational; Doig Breaks 200 Fly Record

OCALA, Fla., - Air Force women's swim capped off their time at the CSCAA National Invitational Championships on Saturday at FAST Facility. On the final day of the competition, the Falcons sent four to the finals and saw a broken Academy record by Natalie Doig. Overall, Air Force finished 26th out of 52 teams, scoring 152.5.
"This was a great end to the season," expressed head coach Colleen Murphy. "The ladies who went to the national meet stepped up and competed well. Kai-Min Tsuei and Hanani Dona completed their Air Force careers with great swims."
C4C Doig highlighted the day with a record-breaking swim in the 200 fly finals. For 11th place, she touched the wall at 1:58.83 to break the previous AF record set in 2024 at 1:58.85. Teammate Jena Nowoswiat swam a 2:03.24 to finish in 19th.
Murphy said, "Doig breaking the 200 fly record in finals was a great close of a fun and competitive meet."
In the 200 back, Elizabeth Sistrunk recorded a preliminary time of 1:59.24 to rank fifth all-time for the Falcons and placed 17th overall after clocking a 2:00.07 in finals.
Naomi Furman once again reached finals, earning the seventh spot in the 200 breast with her time of 2:13.22.
