Hodge Sets School Record In 200-meters

Air Force sophomore Jami Hodge broke a 12-year-old school record in the 200-meters Saturday during the Air Force Open at the Cadet Field House.? Hodge posted a winning time of 25.45 to break Lianne Peterson's record of 2.5. which was set in 1991.
The non-team scoring meet was the Falcons final tune-up before hosting the Mountain West Conference Championships which begins Thursday.
Hodge's performance was just one of several standout efforts turned in by Air Force. Tom Clark and Sean Temple, both Lewis-Palmer graduates, finished one-two respectively in the 400-meter dash. Clark posted a time of 49.24 followed by a 49.38 by Temple. In the triple jump Anthony Park and Chris Banks were the top two collegians. Park leaped 49-feet and Banks went 48-feet, 9-inches. Makisi Haleck, a sophomore, was the top collegian finisher in the pole vault with a vault of 17-feet 3\4-inches.
