Air Force Defeats Idaho State and UT-Pan American

The Air Force women's tennis team won its fifth consecutive match Sunday night with a 7-0 victory over Texas-Pan American at the Cadet Gymnasium Indoor Courts. The Falcons, now 9-6 this season, defeated Idaho State 4-1 earlier in the day.
The Falcons won two of three doubles matches against Idaho State and swept the three matches against UT-Pan American. Air Force won Nos. 1 through 4 singles in straight sets against Idaho State, while No. 5 and 6 singles did not finish.
The Falcons swept all six singles matches against UT-Pan American in straight sets, including a 6-1, 6-0 victory by Laura Nigro at the No. 1 position over Elisabet Mateos.
The Falcons are idle until Thursday, March 20, when they take on Point Loma in San Diego beginning at 2 p.m.
