The Air Force women's volleyball team improved to 4-2 overall with a 3-0 (30-18, 30-23, 30-17) victory over South Alabama. The Falcons had a season-high .442 hitting percentage, tallying 47 kills on 86 attacks with just nine errors.
Kristin Huitt had her third double-double of the tournament with 32 assists and 10 digs. Delavane Diaz had 13 kills on 25 attacks. Kristin Hamlett had 11 kills on 18 attacks with no errors. Lindsay Bengard and Molly White each had four block assists.
The Falcons are currently 2-1 in the Georgia State Invitational. They will face undefeated Georgia State (8-0) in their final game of the tournament on Saturday (Sept. 6) at 5 p.m. EST.
