Buck, McClung Named to All-MWC Tennis Teams

Air Force men's tennis players Shannon Buck and Tyler McClung were selected to the 2004 All-Mountain West Conference tennis team Wednesday night at the MWC Men's and Women's Tennis Championships banquet in San Diego, Calif.
Buck, a sophomore from San Antonio, Texas, earned all-conference singles honors for the second consecutive season after posting an impressive 26-6 overall singles record and an 18-4 mark at the No. 1 spot. McClung, a junior from Puyallup, Wash., is a first-time recipient and went 24-12 overall and 18-7 in dual matches.
The pair was also honored as an All-MWC doubles team. They were 17-7 overall and 15-6 in dual matches this season.
The Falcons, seeded sixth at the 2004 MWC Tournament on Thursday, April 29, opens against third-seeded San Diego State at 2:30 p.m.
