Brian Dumm Takes 10th at Drake Relays

The Air Force track and field program kicked off the 2005 Drake Relays this afternoon (April 28) with the men's 5000-meter run finals.
Senior Brian Dumm (Fairfax, Va.) crossed the finish line in a time of 14:17.28 to finish 10th in the 25-member event finals. Junior Jeff Gosselin (Cornelius, N.C.) finished 14th with a time of 14:38.56.
Dumm and Gosselin were the only Falcon competitors this afternoon, as the rest of the Air Force contingent left today for the historic Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa.
Action continues tomorrow (April 29) at the Drake Relays, beginning with the men's javelin throw at 11:15 a.m. CDT.
