Mark Walter Concludes Run at NCAA Championships

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Air Force junior Mark Walter (League City, Texas) concluded his run at the 2005 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a 22nd-place finish in the preliminaries of the 1500-meter run on Thursday, June 9.

Walter clocked a 3:51.93 to place 10th in the first heat of competition and 22nd overall.

The Falcons wrap up the 2005 season tomorrow (June 10) night, when junior Dana Pounds (Lexington, Ky.) takes to the field for the national finals of the javelin competition.
