Air Force Hockey Announces 2006-07 Schedule

U.S.A.F. ACADEMY, Colo. -- The 2006-07 Air Force hockey schedule is highlighted by 18 home games, the most in the last three seasons. The team opens the 2006-07 season with an exhibition game against the University of Calgary, Monday, Oct. 2, at 7:05, at the Cadet Ice Arena.
The Falcons open the regular season against cross-town foe Colorado College, Friday, Oct. 6, at 7:05 p.m. at the Cadet Ice Arena. The 2006-07 season begins a new era in Falcon hockey as the team begins play in the Atlantic Hockey Association. The first home conference series is Oct. 20-21 against Bentley College at 7:05 p.m. each night at the Cadet Ice Arena.
The following week, the Falcons will compete in the Tampa Tournament with Alabama-Huntsville, Army and Notre Dame, Oct. 27-28, at the Pete Times Forum.
Air Force plays 11 of its first 18 games at home. The Falcons play only six home games in the final 18 contests. However, the first series of the New Year is against service academy rival Army. The Falcons and Black Knights meet Jan. 19-20 at 7:05 p.m. each night at the Cadet Ice Arena.
