Falcons Face TCU at MWC Championships

The Air Force men's tennis team will face TCU in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West Conference Tennis Championships on Thursday, April 26 at the Academy. The match will begin at 3 p.m. The MWC released the championship bracket today.

The Falcons enter the tournament as the No. 7 seed after finishing the regular season with an 11-15 overall record and an 0-6 league mark. TCU is the second seed at 9-11 overall and 5-1 in MWC matches. TCU topped Air Force, 7-0, during the regular season. The winner of the match will face the winner of No. 3 UNLV and No. 6 Utah on Friday, April 27 at 2 p.m. in the semifinals. The Rebels and Utes meet at noon on Thursday.

The other quarterfinal matchup is No. 4 New Mexico and No. 5 BYU on Thursday at 9 a.m. The winner of that match will face top-seeded San Diego State in the semis on Friday, April 27.

This is the first time Air Force has hosted the MWC Championships.
