Falcon Baseball Participates In Red Ribbon Week At Local School

USAF Academy, Colo. - Recently, the Air Force baseball team participated in Red Ribbon Week festivities at The Goddard School in Colorado Springs. Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually during the last week of October.
Several members of the Air Force baseball team talked to youngsters at Goddard about making good decisions and staying way from such things as drugs and alcohol. The Falcon baseball team spoke directly to several sixth, seventh and eighth-grade classes and answered any and all questions the students had.
The Air Force opens the 2009 season at the Service Academies Spring Classic in Millington, Tenn. on Feb. 20 with games against Navy and Kansas.
