SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Using a 15-0 start to the game, San Diego State defeated the Air Force women's basketball team,79-28, in the conference-opener for both teams Wednesday night at Cox Arena. The loss dropped Air Force to 4-10, 0-1, while the Aztecs improved to 10-3, 1-0.

Things were just as tough in the second half, where the Falcons were held to 18 points. Air Force made just eight field goals in the game and shot 19 percent from the field.
Four Aztecs reached double-figures in scoring. Jene Morris led the way with 16 points, while Paris Johnson scored 13, Quenese Davis 12 and Gabrielle Clark 12.
