Air Force Falls At TCU

FORT WORTH, Texas - The Air Force women's basketball team dropped a 77-47 game at TCU Saturday afternoon in Daniel Meyer Coliseum. The loss dropped the Falcons to 3-19, 0-9 on the season and lifted the Horned Frogs to 17-5, 7-2.
Helena Sverrisdottir and Delisa Gross scored 17 points each to lead the way for TCU, which shot 51.9 percent from the field.
Freshman forward Kelsey Berger led Air Force with 14 points and junior guard Raimee Beck added 12 points and six rebounds. Junior center Liz Dunsworth had a game-high eight rebounds to go with six points for the Falcons.
TCU forced Air Force into 22 turnovers and 34.0 shooting from the field.
TCU led 38-19 at halftime.
Air Force returns to action Tuesday, Feb. 9, at Colorado State. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. and the game will be televised by the Mtn.
