The Air Force Academy men's tennis team looks to build on its 2009-2010 season with a stellar recruiting class featuring seven players. The class of 2014 arrived for Basic Cadet Training on Thursday, June 24, marking the beginning of the four-year journey to become officers in the United States Air Force. The new cadets will start academic classes on Thursday, Aug. 5 and join the returning members of the tennis team to begin the fall season.
"We have assembled a fantastic group of student-athletes," said second-year head coach Dan Oosterhous. "This is a very deep class and will significantly strengthen our line-up. I look forward to working with these young men over the next four years as they develop into leaders on and off the tennis court."
Air Force's recruiting class is ranked No. 29 in the nation among over 270 Division I men's programs by tennisrecruiting.net. This is Air Force's highest ever recruiting class ranking and also received a ranking of No. 7 among mid-major Division I schools.
