Air Force Moves Into Second PlaceThe Falcons won and tied on the road last weekend, moving into sole possession of second place in the Mountain Division of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation. The Falcons used an Eric Wilson goal in the 69th minute to defeat San Jose State, 1-0, on Friday, then battled Sacramento State to a scoreless draw on Sunday. Most Wins in Six YearsAir Force's eight wins are the most in one season since the 2005 season, when they were 8-9-2. Underwood Named MPSF Player of the WeekJunior goalie Matt Underwood gathered his third and fourth shutouts of the season this past weekend, making three saves in each game. For his efforts, he was named the MPSF Player of the Week. He has allowed just four goals in AFA's seven league games and currently has a 263-minute scoreless streak. Durr Still Near Top of National and MPSF StatsAir Force junior Kevin Durr is second in the MPSF and tied for sixth nationally with eight assists.
